Paddington Station! What a wonderful station! Despite the rather high number of police officers we could perform freely without the constant interference of a couple of over exicted security guards. Thanks a lot cops of London!
After a briefing regarding the basic performance plan we headed off to Paddington. The performances had to be very subtle in order to avoid any confrontation with the beloved security guards. Once on the 205 bus Christina called and informed us about her coming to join the performance. The performance started at exactly 18:17 and ended at 19:40.In the beginning we were doing very subtle performances until Christina came with her rahter exciting outfit and made The Washroom People explode. The audience was very encouraging and interested in what we were doing. Jacqueline was filming the performance with her digital camera. She developped her undercover and guerilla filming style during her extended travel filming in Morrocco. My work colleague Michael and I were constantly measuring space and parts of the performers' bodies and used the data in order to change with my remote control the information displayed on the info boards and the movements of the performers. We put a number onto each performer. Joanna as usual an exentric lady was exploring space and brilliantly interacting with other performers and the audience. Tricia holding onto her bag and protecting it from people gave a very good performance. Her fear of performing in front of the public is fading away. Liselle creating bubbles and juggling also brilliantly interacted with other performers and the audience. Last but not least Christina wrapped into gafo tape with her explosive and adventures mind gave the general performance a new comical direction.
We all had a specific role while performing. If you would like to know what our roles were contact the performers. I am sure they will get back to you. Click onto the images above in order to view more info on each performer.
