Recent Works

Recent paintings from the ongoing Bad Painting series.

The recent work marks a return to direct narrative and to specific real events. Source images, figures and text have become more explicit again, while the paintings retain some of the looseness, instability and physicality that developed during an earlier period of experimentation.

The working process remains the same: encounter, research, drawing and painting. Bad Painting is not a fixed visual style but a way of working.
