A thousand lives is a project dedicated to my father, the artist Franzueli Rechsteiner AKA Schlössli AKA S-U-R who passed away in February 2015. The project consists of two interconnected events on the 12th of September 2015:

An exhibition of Franzueli Rechsteiner’s work that will focus on his process of making art and feature a few selected pieces that represent his artistic practice. The exhibition will continue from 12 Sep - 4 Oct 2015, open every Sunday and by appointment. The exhibition is curated by Jay Rechsteiner.

We would like to invite the public to visit Franzueli Rechsteiner's home where he worked for the last two decades of his life. We will be showing landard, sculptures and videos of and/by Franzueli Rechsteiner and Jay Rechsteiner's The Archive of a thousand lives, a collection of objects owned by Franzueli Rechsteiner.
